Beverley and her family arrived in the UK from Durban, South Africa as a result of her husband David being offered an exciting career opportunity in the UK in his specialist IT field.

In South Africa Beverley worked in the administrative section of a large vehicle leasing operation. She was pleased to gain a position again in transport at Hallett Silbermann where she assists in the accounts department particularly with data processing.

Beverley loves the UK not only for the history of our country but also because of the many opportunities to travel to so many other countries within Europe which she says are so much closer compared with her previous time living towards the southern tip of Africa in a much more spread out and less populated land.

Time permitting, Beverley enjoys turning her hand to producing stained glass work such as lampshades and door panels for home furnishing.
