October 2005 - Medical Manoeuvres
3 bulky prefabricated Instrument and Equipment Sterilisation units were recently delivered by Hallett Silbermann to Great Ormond Street Childrens Hospital in Bloomsbury central London. The urgently needed equipment was collected from North Yorkshire and delivered over a weekend to avoid disruption at the very restricted access point where the units were to be received by the Hospital.
Although not particularly heavy, at 12 tonnes each, the units were 15 metres long, 3 metres wide and 3.2 metres high. This necessitated considerable manoeuvring of the 3 trailers by the experienced Hallett Silbermann operatives to enable the offloading of the units and their subsequent positioning within the Hospital confines.
