Hallett Silbermann proudly take part in the annual Cart Marking ceremony in the City of London in a tradition dating back over 300 years.
Some 40 ‘carts’ including modern day vehicles are ‘branded’ giving them the right to stand and ply for hire on the City’s streets. The ceremony is conducted by the Master of the Worshipful Company of Carmen (of whom John Silbermann is a past master), assisted by the Lord Mayor of London.
The Hallett Silbermann vehicle 'marked' this year, which was one of a pair of brand new Volvo FH12 150 Tonne 6 x 4 Tractor units, led the procession in and out of Guildhall Yard, London EC2.
