Hallett Silbermann, specialist market leaders in the transport of construction equipment, have purchased three new Volvo rigid chassis, bringing the size of their lorry loader fleet to some 30 vehicles.
A Volvo FM9-300 fitted with Bonfiglioli 30 tonne metre lorry loader and a Volvo FLE-220 fitted with Atlas 15 tonne metre lorry loader will operate from the Hatfield, Herts. Hallett Silbermann branch whilst another Volvo FM9-300 with identical Bonfiglioli lorry loader will operate from the Hallett Silbermann Birmingham branch on contract hire to a West Midlands based piling contractor.
All three vehicles were supplied by the Brimsdown branch of Volvo distributor, Duffields of East Anglia. Heavy duty, double-floored, bodywork was provided by G.M. Billings and Sons of Loughton.
