Feb 2008 - LEZ who?

We are LEZ compliant - are you ?

On Monday 4th February 2008 the whole of the Greater London area, which broadly covers anywhere within the M25 motorway, became a Low Emission Zone (LEZ) under legislation introduced by Transport for London. This scheme, promoted by London Mayor Ken Livingstone, requires that all heavy commercial vehicles operating within the zone comply to stringent emission limitations, or pay a fee of £200 per day or a penalty fine of up to £1,500 !

The objective of the LEZ is to improve air quality in London.

All vehicles in Hallett Silbermann's fleet that are routed through London and into the South East are fully LEZ compliant due to significant investment in new equipment.

With a depot close to the A1(M) / M25 motorway intersection we are able to receive goods for onward delivery into the LEZ from vehicles that are not compliant.
