Delivery has just been confirmed by Belgian manufacturer Faymonville of our latest new heavy trailer which will be with us within the first week of January 2002.
This new trailer will add significant extra capacity to the heavy end of the Hallett Silbermann fleet.
When coupled to a 4 axle heavy haulage unit or when running with a jeep dolly, the trailer will carry 85 tons. The 4 axle trailer, with automatic rear steering and hydraulic suspension, has a 7.50m (24'7") low loader well, extendible to 12.0m (39'4") in length, and with outriggers increasing the width to 3.45m (11'4") from 2.9m (9'6").
This new trailer becomes the 4th fully steered Faymonville heavy haulage trailer operated by Hallett Silbermann and increases our heavy and general haulage fleet numbers to 65.
This reliable new equipment continues the significant capital investment programme made by Hallett Silbermann to consistently provide the highest possible levels of customer service.
