The handling, craneage, and storage facilities offered by Hallett Silbermann have seen a surge in demand recently as the economic recession begins to bite in the UK.

A harsh reality of the severe downturn is that some businesses cannot survive. The consequence for Hallett Silbermann has been a significant increase in 'recovery' business. Currently we are handling over 200 items of plant and machinery on behalf of various banks, leasing companies, and finance houses. Our plant transport and heavy haulage rolling stock have been extensively engaged in collecting and delivering these distressed and repossessed items.

At our large storage facility in Hatfield Hertfordshire, adjacent to the junction of the M25 and the A1(M), we have the capacity to unload, store, and re-load equipment weighing up to 90 tons. The site operates on a 24/7 basis and is highly secure.
